Wellspring Community is a dispersed ecumenical community of men and women who seek to follow Christ, live prophetically, see God’s presence in each moment and person, and work for reconciliation and practice peace through:
- Embracing the lonely. Challenging the powerful, working for peace and justice.
- Caring for country. Travelling light in a fragile environment.
- Creating community. Hospitality and healing. Engaging other views and other faiths.
- Sharing shade at noon. Prayer, reflection, spirituality and worship.
- Sharing the common dish. Enjoying dialogue, dadirri and discernment in an ancient land.

Great Gathering
We had a marvellous Gathering. Super presentation by Christine King on Called to create a reconciling community (ask about the DVD!). Worship leading by Trisha Watts was inspirational.
Katalina Tahaafe-Williams was full of bubbling infectious enthusiasm combined with a willingness of challenge us oldies!

The session called to create a just and peaceful community by Mark Zirnsak got us all talking about what we are doing and what can be done.

Wellspring Community Prayer Card

Reverse:
For you, deep stillness of the silent inland
For you, deep blue of the desert skies
For you, flame red of the rocks and stones
For you, sweet water from hidden springs.
From the edges seek the heartlands
and when you're burnt by the journey
may the cool winds of the hovering Spirit
soothe and replenish you.
In the name of Christ, in the name of Christ.
